Promise Giving Children’s Family offers volunteers a chance to care for children in our home, responsibilities at the project will be several for example assisting the caregivers in preparing nourishing meals for the children, teaching children, integrating, interactive and engaging methods – The children at our center are from different age groups, school going as well as babies.
Volunteers are always welcome to Promise Children’s Family to share their talents and resources with the less fortune children of the center, we believe in creating a lasting relationship with all our volunteers at various levels wherever they may be. Our services to these children demand that we work within the government guidelines and regulations of Child Protection and Safety; therefore, volunteers to Destined Children’s Centre must abide by our rules for the best interest of the children, all volunteers are required to sign a volunteer’s agreement form with the director of the home.
I had an amazing experience while volunteering from start to finish, the trip was well organized, details were fully communicated and disclosed, staff was outstanding to work with; everyone was welcoming, supportive and informative.
This was a trip outside of my comfort zone, but the Promise Giving Organization volunteers staff put me at ease on many different levels, we were treated wonderfully, everything was well kempt, clean, and pleasing to the eye. I cannot say enough about how efficiently the schedule was kept and communicated to us.
